D.A.R.E.

D. A. R. E. stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education and began in
DeKalb County Schools around 1992. D. A. R. E. is taught on a countywide
basis by Sergeant Anthony Bartley, Deputy Chip Richards, Deputy Scott
Tarrant and Deputy Josh York.  The targeted grade for DeKalb's D. A. R.
E. is fifth grade. The program is completed each May with a countywide
culmination.
